S.D.MODEL SEN.SEC.SCHOOL, MANDI GOBINDGARH is celebrating Swachhata Pakhwada from 1st-15th Sep 2024. On first day (01.09.2024), Principal mam administered the Swachhta pledge to all the staff members & students.
The second day of Swachhta Pakhwada 02.09.2024. Here at S.D. Model School, following initiatives were taken to make our surroundings clean:- 1) Threw trash into the waste baskets. 2) Arranged Eco friendly club meetings for students. 3) Banned the use of plastic water bottles in school premises. 4) Created fun posters and hung them around the school so as to remind others to stick to the sanitation rules.
Cleanliness Drive for Swachhata Pakhwada 03.09.2024:
Our school Conducted an activity ‘Community Outreach’ on 3rd of September in which the students participated with great enthusiasm and fervour along with their teachers. The students revealed their active participation of educating the people about the proper disposal of waste. The students were successful in guiding people how to dispose the domestic, industrial and agricultural waste, the use of blue and green dustbins, the prevention of dreadful diseases like dengue, malaria, the effects due to blockages etc. All issues were explained by our students very beautifully through virtual mode. They made banners, models, pamphlets, charts and painting on Sanitation etc and posted on social media to make everybody aware about this campaign.
ਅੱਜ ਮਿਤੀ 14.09.2024 ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਐੱਸ.ਡੀ. ਮਾਡਲ ਸਕੂਲ, ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਪਖਵਾੜਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਸਟ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇਂਦਿਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਨੁਕਤਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਬਣਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਡਾ. ਅਮਿਤ ਸੰਦਲ ਜੀ ਚੈਅਰਮੈਨ ਜਨ-ਕਲਿਆਨ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ, ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸਫਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਤੇ ਜੋਰ ਪਾਉਂਦਿਆ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਏ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਪਖਵਾੜਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿੱਲੇ-ਸੁੱਕੇ ਕੂੜੇ, ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਬੈਗ, ਡਿਸਪੋਜਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਆਦਿ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਕਸ਼ਿਅਪ ਜੀ ਚੈਅਰਮੈਨ ਹਰਿਆਵਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੰਸਥਾ, ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੂਟੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੈਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਲਾਭ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਟੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੀ ਹਾਨੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਸ.ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ, ਜਨ-ਕਲਿਆਨ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ, ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਪਰੋਮਿਸ ਲਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਣਗੇ, ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚਾ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਪੰਜ ਬੂਟੇ ਜਰੂਰ ਲਗਾਏਗਾ, ਅਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੱਮ ਸਾਫ-ਸੁਥਰਾ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਰਚਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਝਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜੋਰ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਰੋਜਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵੀ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਨ ਭਰੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਸੋ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੱਛ ਬਣਾਈਏ।
